Our History
AmeriMed was established in 1986 to provide durable medical equipment (DME) and oxygen services to home medical patients in the Greater Cincinnati area.
In
1990, AmeriMed added a home infusion pharmacy supplying infusion medications,
enteral products, supplies, infusion nursing and respiratory medications
to home care patients. These expanded home care services were made possible
through advances in technology supported by the need to reduce the cost
of healthcare.
In December 2004, AmeriMed entered into a joint venture forming Cornerstone Medical Services Midwest, LLC to provide DME and Oxygen services.
Today, AmeriMed services a territory with a 150 mile radius around Cincinnati, providing services in the home, physician offices and hospice facilities.
